Well From what I can gather its up at Glenville 551 where its been for 6 months, WOW can you believe 6 months. And from what I can hear its got a lot of bust and its being used for some really wild uses, Seems as one of them Newman Boys is using it to drive tomato steaks in the ground, and one of the good ole boys uses it to hang pictures for his wife, and get this they even took a cutting off of it to grow another so they wouldn't have to share it. WNC Martial Arts & Eastern Star Car Wash

The group effort was a great success, we had a great time and we grew a lot closer to the Eastern Star. The Kids From Boyds Karate Club did a great job and had a wonderful time. The Eastern Star made a wonderful Lunch and thanks to everyone who came by and ate with us. We want to have a special thanks to Mike (Tiny) Hooper and the Men From Blue Ridge Paper Company, Tiny Sold Dinners there and helped us get the orders. Were just glad that he didn't want that truck washed to.  The Easter Star decide to donate proceeds to the lodge general fund and Boyds Students did the same. The was a great day for both groups and we feel that with a little team work a lot can be achieved.

 

The Eastern Star will be planning a Yard sale where we will rent spots to people and the money will go to the eastern star, as you all know we have a great place with a lot of room and great access with a main road passing the lodge. We will be making plans with the Eastern Star and we will be passing along a date and prices of the spaces. If you have any yard sale items to donate please contact Boyd Ammons (828)283-5599

  Now Halloween id coming around the corner and I have heard that one of them Newman Boys is going to dress up as a prisoner and use it as a prop. And with Thanksgiving and Christmas coming soon I can see it being used to crack walnuts and various other nuts.

 

  Glenville Has their Regular Stated Coming Up On October 11th. If anyone can rescue the Gavel It seems its in need of rescue.
