Glenville Lodge #551 A.F.&A.M.

PROCLAMATION

BE IT KNOWN TO ALL MEN that the Masons of the 40^th Masonic District of the Most Worshipful Grand Lodge of Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of North Carolina, are the finest Men in all of Freemasonry, and

WHEREAS, the Brethren of Glenville Lodge #551, having noticed the decline of visitation between the Brothers and Lodges of the 40^th Masonic District; and

WHEREAS, the basic principals of Freemasonry are Friendship, Morality and Brotherly Love; and

WHEREAS, the brethren of Glenville Lodge #551 wish to inspire the Brethren of the 40^th Masonic District to visit other Brethren and Lodges in said District; and

WHEREAS, this wish needs some incentive to be accomplished; do

HEREBY deliver this GOLDBRICK AWARD to the members of the 40^th Masonic District in the sprit of Brotherly Love and affection; and

WHEREAS, this award must be displayed in the East in plain view of the members and guests until delivered to another Lodge; and

WHEREAS, this award, unlike most awards, must be taken to another Lodge in the 40^th District within 30 calendar days of receiving the award; and

WHEREAS, this may be done at a stated or emergent communication, the receiving Lodge, by three master mason members, must with great haste make the award to another Lodge.

NOW THEREFORE WE, the members of Glenville Lodge #551 present this GOLDBRICK AWARD to the Lodges of the 40^th Masonic District, and hope it will be received in the sprit it was given
