Seventeen of East La Porte’s current members have 50 or more years of Masonic service and 10 of those members attended a fish fry supper on Sep 30, 2004 in honor of our Widows and 50-Year members.   Since the formation of East La Porte Lodge in 1877 we have had 46 members reach the 50-year mark and 11 of those 46 have reached the 60-year mark.  Felix Hooper (seated on the left in the attached picture) has the longest service of any member with 68.3 years of service.  Fletcher Dunbar (seated on the right) is our newest 60-year member having received his 60-year pin and certificate at the dinner.  Winfred Ashe (standing on the left) is our newest 50-year member.
